Meet the Owner

As President and owner of Zia’s Italian Fine Foods Ltd. Paola brings 23 years of business experience and a lifetime of Italian culture to the wonderful Okanagan Valley. From working in two successful family businesses’ she knows what it takes to make a business succeed. That success has always started with customer satisfaction. Paola has always strived to do the best at whatever she is involved in and Zia’s is no exception. As a first generation Italian/Canadian Paola has always been drawn to her culture. She started at a young age as an Italian folk dancer and progressed through the years to being on the board of directors for the Abruzzesi Cultural Committee in Calgary, Alberta. For over 20 years she served on the board helping to arrange scholarships for children of Italian decent to further their education. As well she also supported the young dancers of the Italian community to continue their cultural dancing as she did years earlier. Relocating to Kelowna with her Husband and four children, Paola wanted to share her culture and its great traditions and food with the wonderful people of the Okanagan. With all of this in mind Zia’s Italian Fine Foods was born. Paola invites every one of all ages to stop in say Hi and experience a little bit of Italy.
